WHY SA PRECISION DENTURES
A denture should disappear once it's in.
When a denture is made well, you stop thinking about it. You eat what you want, you laugh without covering your mouth, and it stays where it should. That's the standard Paul Norris works to on every denture - measuring carefully, fitting patiently, and adjusting until it's right.
As a dual-qualified dental technician and prosthetist, Paul both assesses you in the chair and oversees the making of your denture. That combination is unusual, and it means fewer people between you and the person responsible for your result. You deal with Paul directly - not a call centre, not a rotating roster of staff.

Knowing what to expect makes the process feel far less daunting - here's the path from first call to finished denture.
Consultation
Paul talks through what's bothering you and what you want, then assesses your mouth in person.
Impressions
Careful impressions and bite measurements form the foundation of a denture that actually fits.
Try-in
You see and feel the denture before it's finished, so the shape, shade and bite are right for you.

Common questions
Do I need a referral to see a dental prosthetist?+
No. A dental prosthetist is qualified to assess, make and fit dentures directly, so for most denture work you can book with Paul without a referral. For implant-retained dentures, Paul will coordinate with your dentist or surgeon for the implant surgery itself.
How much do dentures cost in Adelaide?+
It depends on the type of denture and your situation, so Paul gives you a clear quote at your consultation rather than a one-size-fits-all figure. There's a full breakdown on the denture cost page, including how health fund rebates and DVA cover can reduce what you pay.
Does SA Precision Dentures accept health funds?+
Yes. SA Precision Dentures is a Medibank Private and BUPA preferred provider and processes claims on the spot where your fund allows. DVA Gold and White Cards are also accepted.
Where is SA Precision Dentures located?+
The clinic is at 342 Hancock Road, Surrey Downs, in Adelaide's north-east, open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. It's an easy drive from across the northern and eastern suburbs with parking on site.
What makes SA Precision Dentures different?+
Paul is dual-qualified as both a dental technician and a prosthetist, with more than 30 years of experience and BPS accreditation. In practice that means the person who assesses you is closely involved in making your denture, and you work with him directly the whole way through.
