Over thirty years in the same field means Paul has seen almost everything a mouth can present - first-time full dentures for someone anxious about the change, long-standing denture wearers who'd given up on comfort, complex partials, and cases other clinics found difficult. Dual-qualified - technician and prosthetist

Paul holds two qualifications that usually sit with two different people. A dental technician is trained in the craft of constructing dentures; a dental prosthetist is qualified to work with patients directly - assessing, measuring and fitting. Because Paul is both, the clinical detail from your appointment feeds directly into how your denture is built. There are fewer hands and fewer hand-offs between you and the finished result.

BPS accredited

Paul is accredited in the Biofunctional Prosthetic System (BPS), a structured method for making precision dentures, and was among the earlier practitioners in South Australia to adopt it. Accreditation means he's trained in the system's specific protocols and can offer it where it's the right choice for a patient - while being honest about when a well-made conventional denture will serve you just as well.

Paul is a registered dental prosthetist and qualified dental technician, and was among the first practitioners in South Australia accredited in the Biofunctional Prosthetic System (BPS).

The clinic

SA Precision Dentures is at 342 Hancock Road, Surrey Downs, in Adelaide's north-east, open Monday to Friday. It's an easy drive from across the northern and eastern suburbs. Paul is a Medibank and BUPA preferred provider and accepts DVA cards. Same-day repairs and overnight relines are completed in-house at the clinic; a share of full denture and partial fabrication is sent to an external laboratory, which Paul is upfront about rather than overstating what's built on-site.
